It was fun.
I wanted an excuse to goof off and blame it on a highly irritable character who easily gets bored.
So, I geeked out and played with ai image generator for hours to create my character in different scenarios.
blarg was born.
Here’s another reason:

I like to entertain.
But I am also a total introvert and I dread parties. Yet, to my kids I goof off so much at home that I often get just as much respect as Homer Simpson. I just love to get a smile, a snicker, or a dad-joke eye-roll.
blarg helps me entertain my readers. You don’t have to use that level of comic book entertainment when you write, but there are other ways to entertain.

Charm makes you likeable.
In a world of serious Christian devotionals and debates, we could use a little more charm, especially in emails. Email’s should feel like getting a drink with a friend, not a demonstration of your expertise.
